The title continues this theme of seeing and hearing, where last week we found the word “shma” (listen) several times. And last month, Tammuz, was about healing sight, while this month, Av, is about healing hearing.
One of the things emphasized in the parsha is about eating animals, which kinds, where and how. It’s amazing that this week I went to a place to learn about animals in a Biblical context, which is called The Biblical Museum of Natural History.
