Finally! It’s the origin story of my roommate who I keep mentioning. Rikki was born in New York, and wanted to make Aliyah since she was 7. From a young age, she discovered intuitive healing abilities, as well as massages that people lined up for. We discussed her talents in painting and mosaics, and that she’s a singer, song-writer, guitar player, chanting circle leader, as well as former leader with Dances of Universal Peace. She’s also a writer and improviser.
Rikki shared about the visual artists that inspire her, Yoram Raanan and Liane Wakabayashi. She blessed us with one of her original songs, The Serenity Prayer (20:12-23:10).
She’s written columns about health, and about consumer affairs, as well as a children’s book (Grateful When I Awake) and The Messiah Chronicles, Book 1: Have You Seen the Signs?
Rikki also shared why it’s easier to host Shabbat meals when I’m not around, what it’s really like to live with me, and how improv helps people come out of their shell, and speak extemporaneously. At 38:45 she shared her message for the Jewish world.
